FRANCES CYBENKO, PMHNP-BC

Frances Cybenko is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a genuine calling and passion for mental health, committed to helping others construct a roadmap to wellness by utilizing the latest research and evidence-based treatment modalities. Throughout her 15-year career as an experienced psychiatric and emergency nurse, she emphasized a holistic and patient-centered approach, using evidence-based medication management, psychotherapeutic interventions, and non-pharmacological techniques to help target symptoms and promote relief.

After a successful career in mental-health and emergency nursing, she graduated from Walden University with a Master of Science in Nursing, completing clinical rotations where she collaboratively treated patients with acute and chronic conditions across the lifespan and psychiatric spectrum in private practice, inpatient, and in individual and group psychotherapy settings. She credits her professional success to her inherently compassionate and empathic nature, commitment to continued education and professional development, dedication to excellence, high standards of professional practice, and generous encouragement and guidance from the numerous accomplished physicians, colleagues, administrators, and mentors who empowered her to achieve her academic and professional pursuits in mental health care.

Frances is passionate about music and watching documentaries, enjoys woodworking and reading, and credits her resilience to engaging in random acts of kindness and spending quality time with her incredibly supportive husband, Michael, her four children, and two grandchildren.
